Serious question:

What do you understand by "keeping an active account"?

Active could mean........Staying active, as in betting on a consistent basis.........or.....Active could mean.....Keeping the account active as in "open" or alive.....Only 2 ways to look at it.....

It seems like "active" means whatever the hell the sports book wants it to mean.

JJ you have to read the "5Dimes did the switch..." thread before answering this question.

Banned4Life no I did not, dont really want to bother reading it either, I do not play at the book even though they get solid write-ups ect. I got plenty of other good books that offer just as much

Good Luck to you Banned4life.

Depends.. Active, as in 'keeping an account from being closed due to lack of activity'?
Maybe a play every few weeks would be o.k., or maybe even once a month at the least, depending on how much money is in the account.

Active, as in "account must remain active for 30 days to recieve bonus"? I would say at least 2 or 3 wagers a week. At the absolute minimum, i would say a play a week.

Now, should a player be allowed to roll an account ove the required amount , then let the account sit idle for 28/29 days , then expect that the account has been sufficiently "Active"?

I would say hell no, and send the dipshits name to every other book as a heads up..

Just my opinion of course.

A square like in the example above is going to get snagged in this rule eventually.

Active, is to wager.

Extended period of time, equates to a period of seven consecutive days.

Inactive, is not to wager for an extended period of time.

Note: Definitions are according to 5Dimes Sports Book.

In regards to cashing in the bonus?

If so, then i think that is more than fair. It is a very generous bonus offer, i don't think asking someone to wager, what amounts to 4 times in a thirty day period, is asking too much in return.

Again, just my opinion.

Wait a minute. What do you mean you don't play there? In the switch thread you wrote:

Yep, and this applies for a 30-day period from the inception of the bonus...

Personally, I am not concerned with anyone's bonus criteria however, I am troubled when such criteria isn't displayed up-front.

Additionally, I see no need for an "active" time-period requirement...when an adequate "roll-over" amount is all that is necessary.

I think a Bookmaker looks for trouble when he keeps adding rules and terms in an attempt to "protect" his bonus offers.

Judge:

quote:
I think a bet a month would be considered active.

That's my point...everyone is entitled to their own opinions as to what active or inactive means as it is applied to their criteria...

So, just state such up-front.

Better yet, is to eliminate any criteria based upon "time" and stick to "action" or "amount."

Good point..
Would be wise for them to post this on the site. Just to avoid the sort of shit that is happening now.
