I gave Lou as much shit as anyone. I thought he was a whiny bitch for making a big deal over GCS stealing a few hundred dollars in video equipment.
Truth is I respect his morals if his story was fact. Any book that would steal a ex employees belongings is certainly capable of slow paying customers. OH OH thats right GCS did slow pay some customers as well as ripping off money from the elderly.

Nobody "stole" any video equipment.
Lou left his video equipment in the garage of a total stranger, who had hired Lou to do some promo work. The guys house was raided by Secret Service, and they confiscated his video equipment.
Lou thought they were responsible for the cost of the equipment, since, if i remember right, they are the ones that sent him to the guy, or referred him.
And yeah, the people at GCS were in fact involved with a scam operation before starting up GCS.
