In WSOP? Maybe at Pinnacle where they'd have the balls to make a 2 sided future.

The player that you "know is #1 in the world" right now is currently ranked 17th in the world. That's a long way from #1.

Chris,

Go to www.cardplayer.com for their listing of the Player of the Year. They use a formula of tournaments entered, final tables made and total money won to award points. Right now Phil Hellmuth is ranked 1st. I don't think Chan has played in many tournaments this year but I believe he's already won a bracelet at this year's WSOP. That site also has all of the info on this year's winners at the WSOP.

Chris,

He's rated 36th because he's only placed in three tourneys this year. But he's won 2 bracelets at the WSOP this year, not 1. And I believe he's the all time leading money winner at the WSOP but I could be mistaken about that.
