If internet gambling is eventually banned online, how would you cope with it?

If somehow in the future, the govt. succeeds in putting a complete end to interntet gambling, and not one book exists online any longer, AND you don't live anywhere thats legal to sports~bet, how would you cope with it and what would you find to do with all of your new spare time?!

I only bet the horses, so I would have to move to a state that Youbet or eBet will accept accounts from. Oddly, Nevada is not one of them, even though I like Exilarch's idea

#1- It will never happen. There are too many ways around any law that anyone tries to pass or enforce.

#2- Don't even think about moving to Las Vegas. Sports betting was banned here starting about 5 years ago. You can't get a game of jacks in this shithole city anymore.

Hache- The dog shit casinos only want slot and video poker play. No one bets sports in this city anymore. The wise guys have either moved out of town or the ones that are still here bet offshore. I haven't been to a sportsbook in eons. They put only the basics on the board. They won't take any money. The futures have enough vig built in to make a loan shark blush and if you win too often, they will ask you to bet elsewhere.

The few places that still take phone bets will close your account if they think you're a wiseguy. These casinos have a guaranteed win with the machines so they are not going to let any sharp bettors take any money out of the sports book. They want tourists betting $5 dollar parlay cards. It's been that way for quite some time.

9 years later and with all the European books getting a foothold into Vegas sportsbooks, we are seeing more and more options. I like where things are heading. Good post bump boatx3
