This one is a long term scalp.

CanBet has Lakers vs. Field to win NBA Championship.

I Played the Field -430 ( 4300 to win 1000 )

Then take $800 and play the Lakers ML On Game 6, then the $800 + winnings On Game 7, then Take Lakers to win Series for the $800 + all the winnings. Then play the Lakers in the Finals for the $800 + all the winnings.

If the Lakers get beat somewhere , we lose the $800, but win $1000. If they win the Championship we lose $4300 but win well over $5000. Either way this is a winner.

Start with $800

Game 6 ML -200 $800 to win $400 = $1200
Game 7 ML +130 $1200 to win $1560 =$2760

Next Series

Lakers -110 ( Probably better than this, because Dallas or Sac will have Home court advantage, but say -110 just to be safe )

Play $2760 to win $2509 = $5269

Finals

Lakers - 500 ( I would say -500 is about right )
$5269 to win $1052 = $6321 ending total deduct the $4300 lost on the above play and the $800 we started with = $1221 PROFIT. ( And I think I used conservative ML's here - the actual ML's will probably be better. So this will either win $200 or $1221. Of course the amounts can be changed a little to make it a little more even payoff. It can probably be worked out to a guaranteed $300 profit if you start with only $700 on the Hedge.

Am I missing something? This sure looks sweet.

Danny - I really doubt you will get those lines on the Lakers. For starters they are -240 or so for game 6 not -200. For game 7 you wont get +130, maybe +110. They would be a decent sized favorite against Dallas or Sac, prob -250 for that series. In the finals they would be more than -500, depends on who they play but could be -1000.
