I used to do it for years and years, only now and then these days. Your best bet is to go buy a Baseball Beckett Price guide, which are updated monthly. As a matter of fact, I bought four packs of Topps Chrome Basketball today from Wal~Mart and pulled a Shaq autograph.

I think it's his second year card, not his rookie. Rookie (I think) was 81 Topps.

I used to be a dealer(baseball cards not drugs).
Most of these cards are very available on e-bay for next to nothing. Go to e-bay and type the year, player and make and you can get an idea of what they are selling for.

I'd say the Lee Smith 82 donruss is worth a few dollars (if that is his rookie card which I believe I have that card and it is)....frank robinson 75 topps a few and george brett 81 topps is worth a few dollars.

max on any of the cards is probably 4 bucks.

I have a huge collection..the industry has taken a big hit in the last 10 years..the big concern from a collector is the cards condition..the edges need to be not frilled and the cardboard well preserved..the older the card the more value it has, and rookie cards and inserts are the ones most coveted..its a fun hobby when you have a passion for sports..

all common. bob gibson and frank robinson are worth a few bucks. bill madlock and george brett are worth a little if mint+ (9.0+). the robinson card could be worth up to $25.00 if pristine(10.0) but that is very rare (1 in 2,000 cards grade pristine)

get your hands on a bowmans 1951 mickey mantle rookie card in good condition $8,500! or the 1909 honus wagner t-206 white border $400,000+!
