Do you SMOKE? How much? What kind and why?

I'm down to some bud here and there

Gave up ciggies about a year and a half ago

Chew the hell out of the gum, LOVE it

Used to smoke anything from Pall Malls, Marlboro Reds, Camel, Parliament, Dunhill, Rothmans, Export A, you name it.

I smoked anywhere from 3 a day to a pack and a half for about 8 years.

My lungs feel great now, I exercise a lot and can breath easily running up 10 flights of stairs or running.

by the way, whats the price of a 20 cig. pack in the states. average price.

7.50 canadian $ in Québec, but a waste majority of brands are in 25 cig. packs here.

dm- gauloises are a good brand, I used to bum them off my friend who smoked them. you find them at finer tobacco shops. Y

You ever try DAVIDOFF? White pack, great cigarette..makes it real hard to stop when you grab a pack of those periodically--Made in Germany, highly recommend them.

When I quit 1.5 yrs ago, I think that Export A were about $5-$6 USD, but most of the generic brands like Marlboro, Camel, etc.. were going for about $4 a pack. If you found them for $3, that was a good deal. They were about $2/pack 5 yrs. ago then they passed a heavy tax..may just have been a California tax I am not sure. Those are California prices that I am quoting you; I think that was a state tax.

If you are going to smoke, then smoke something good like a Davidoff or Export A, the former being the preferred cig.

I chew a box of the gum every five days, 108 pieces. I buy the generic brand, Nicorette is more expensive than coke.

RPM, nicorette costs $50 a box for the 2 mg and $60/box for the 4 mg. My generic stuff is $18/box on ebay for 4 mg. The generic tastes better and isn't as hard to chew. I buy the 2 mg usually and chew 2 pieces at a time.

gauloises are good, and it is avaiable everywhere in canada. actually, it is one of few foreign brands that you can buy here. gauloises, gitanes, winston, camel, davidoff. other than that, there are only canadian cigarettes. (high taxes)

davidoff is the best brand i've ever tried. the most popular one all over europe. i always bring some of those back to canada when i go to europe. you can find it in canada as well, but it costs 12$ a 20 cig. pack. this winter when i was comming back from there the canadian custom service almost took a 200 cig. box from me.

In europe you can buy it for 2-3 $ at airports.
there are several types of davidoff cigarettes but i prefere the black one. the white one is called <classic> i think.

dm, not sure if i have ever tried the black. yeah that is what I am saying..these Davidoff are so good it is the kind of smoke that can get a guy to smoke again even after quitting for years and adopting an active lifestyle. It's nice to pick up a pack at a Vegas casino. Fine women wearing bikinis sell them behind nice glass cases for $10 a pack or something like that--real tough to pass on when you walk by with a full pocket of chips and a drink.

Davidoffs are pretty cheap in Germany and yes I do remember seeing them for a good price at the Duty Free shop in Munchen. The Export A gold pack was the last thing that I was smoking.

Will have to try the black pack Davidoff one day..maybe motivation to breed some babies and have a celebration smoke.
