My safest would always include Royal, Bigbook, and Carib because they have been around for a long time and I have never heard of anyone being slow paid by any of these books. Also Pinnacle seems to be very reliable.

I would have to go with Heritage. Been around forever, and they just in effect "rebated" their players $250,000 for a March Madness contest, with 2000 or so winners.

They must got some bread if they can afford to do that.

Well run as well, good customer service.

Pancho Sanza,

You are 100%! They do not need any independent watchdogs or other form of regulated protection. I can give you many (oh really many) complaints about these guys, but when it does get to paying, I have no sleepless nights. Just minor irritations, because you know that you are on a special list. With all the others I have my doubts. Especially those on the Prescription preferred list, because one may starts relying on the fact that they are on there, while they still offer arbitrage prices!!!! What makes me even more laugh is if some of those guys want to put up some US$1m in some secure fund. God, only 1m. Are they that small? Macauslot on a weekend of football turns over US$100m. It is nice to have a little play (no more than US$10k) with those, what I call cowboys of the Caribbean, but that is it for me. Still the joy I would feel out of making one of them go broke and (pre-)post about it on this BB is less than the sorrow of the $$$ I loose on it, but God how much would I love to do it, when again I read that one of them is so called secure, etc.

I would post my list, but I think it would be pretty similar to Trob's...
I certainly would not put Rio in twice though... /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

you seem to be familiar with the situation on the far East, just wondering on what data do you base your number of 100m? How does Jphan compare to Macauslot?

And do you know if Macauslot will be opening to European customers? I e-mailed them once, they replied they take all customers, but have no plans to put on an English version of the site???

You are right the STDM as a private company does not enclose its financial result, so unfortunately I cannot forward you to some official website with an annual report. I can tell you however that I got this figure confirmed from two reliable independent sources.

ACW,

HOW DOES DRHO.COM FIT IN?

I RECALL THE SITE CLAIMING LIVE DEALERS AND GAMES, BUT HAVEN'T VISITED SINCE. IT SEEMS MORE A CASE OF A SITE LEASING SOMEONE'S NAME, BUT I'M CURIOUS AS TO YOUR OPINION.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INSIGHT.
