Drexler might unretire to join Nuggets

Clyde Drexler recently said he would consider returning to the pro basketball hardwood for the second phase of his NBA career, according to the Denver Post. The newspaper says the 42-year-old Drexler counts the Denver Nuggets as a team he would consider joining if he decides to resume a career that included 10 All-Star game appearances, and culminated with his induction into the Hall of Fame last weekend.
"If someone with a chance to win a championship would call, I'd consider it," Drexler said. "The Nuggets are certainly one of those teams. If you look at their young talent, they are phenomenal on paper. I know I could do it."

I was going to say that same old crap "well he cant be any worse than these guys" but then I re-read the part that said he was 42.

I am sure Clyde is only doing this because of whats going on with social security.

Hache...Drexler is my favorite alltime player...I find this quote very hard to believe...please stay retired Clyde...Hache in his prime he was the 2nd best player to Jordan (92-94) he was doing things (in Port) nightly that 95% of the country didn't see.

he should stay retired, but if he absolutely had to come back i suppose the nuggets would be a good choice. he could be like robert parish on the bulls team of 96.
