i was watching the other night, and the short-stop(citron, i think) fields the ball partially out in LF, has a force at 2nd, and over over throws the ball to first base! WTF?!?! and to top it off, the 2nd baseman wasnt even covering the bag. this could have been the reason he went to first.
any back yard softball player knows, when there is a force at 2nd go to 2nd, not all the way across the diamond! and they also know, when there is a guy on first, cover 2nd base if a ground ball is hit.
