From the O/U lines posted for week one it looks like the new rule changes as reviewed in the daily news article are already being built into the anticipated higher totals.

When I first read the article, my inclination was to jump on potential over plays.

However, my contrarian nature smells a rat and tells me to look very hard at inflated totals as an opportunity to go under.

Would be interested in feedback on just how much posters feel the new rules will effect the totals, and if anyone else plans on taking a contrarian stand.

I have projected the new rules will boost the point totals by 3.4 points a game. However, this is based on my own formula and it is obviously dependent on how the officials interpret the rules.

I think most totals will be climbing so on a hunch the first week I'm going to try a few unders in certain situations and see what happensm maybe do a 7pt tease under on some games
