warning regarding any book associated with EFS

I know there are a lot of threads about staying away from books like sportsbook.com and linesmaker.com and so forth. SO here is just another thread warinign players of the perils associated with this book.

On June 2nd I requested a withdrawal. On june 10th I asked where my money was, and they said they needed to see my DL and CC's first so I sent them in. Then they claimed they needed 5 business days to verify it. Then they went and froze all my accounts at the books they deal with, but only told me so last week, after I enquired as to what happened to my toher withdrawal requests.

They absolutely refuse to discusss the matter with me. They will only tell me that they are "auditing" or investigating my accounts, and that it is up to managemnet to decide if and when I will be paid. But that as a player, I do not have a right to speak to management. At first they always assured me I would get paid, as soon as they could verify that the creditcards do in fact belong to me. (apparently my name on the cards aren't enough). Now they don't make any claims as to whether I will ever be paid.

SO I'm just warning you all that the fact that sportingbetplc is a publicly traded company means very little. I've had stiff books that have dealt more honestly with me

I don't trust any of those v chip places. On top of the silly v chip idea they require more passwords and ID's than the federal government.

I don't know what all the fuss is about sportsbook.com. I haven't played there in awhile, but have never heard of any problems there, except for this board. For some reason, probably because of their simple name, they are the most popular book by everyone in my town. They always sent me a check the next day, no fees, by Fed Ex, and the same for all of my buddies that play there.

I have played wiht these guys for almost 2 years now. I hav e recieved dozens of payouts without incident. The problem with them is that EFS has the absolute worst Cusotmer service available. On those rare occasions when there is a problem, you call CS and they tell you that your issue is being dealt with by another department, and they have no idea when it will be resolved. Then if you ask to speak to someone in the department which is handling yuor issue, they tell you that you can't. you can only speak to people in the call center. But they don't know anything. So you are forced to wait indefinitely.

One guy told me last night don't worry we're not running off with your money. They just won't give it to me.

Can you name one non-stiff book that would withold a payout of $8500 and refuse to allow you to speak to anyone who could explain the hold up.

that is why sportsbook.com gets such a bad rap

the only way to take a payout at linesmaker,sportingbetusa is fedex check.i have never waited more than 2 days for my payout to arrive.

Sorry to hear about that. My feeling is that you'll probably be fine, but what do I know? I do remember their phone service. Can I open an account? No, you have to do it online. I'd like to request a payout. No, you have to do it online. Don't even know why they answer the phone. I just know that I always got paid, and liked playing there. But I never had an issue with them either.

More than likely I will eventually get paid. But it might be next week or next month. DImeplayer has said they wil pay me on tuesday if EFS still has not released the funds. I'm hoping if this ins't resolved over the weekend, I can get the other books to take the same stance as dimeplayer.

What is truly frightening about EFS is that when you speak to them, the excuses they give are frighteningly similar to what the clerks at a stiff book will tell you.

Linesmaker has just contacted me to let me know they are going to hel get this resolved. So I would like to pulicly thank Linesmaker.

I can't stand EFS. But Mike at Linesmaker really helped me out of a jam. As long as Mike is there, would continue playing and recomend them.

I would also like to apologize to linesmaker for singling out thier name in a thread that really has to do with how EFS is treating me, and nothing to do with how Mike at Linesmaker ever dealt with me.
