INDIANAPOLIS – Colts quarterback Peyton Manning won the NFL co-Most Valuable Player Award last season. Now, he’s up for two more awards.

Manning, a Pro Bowl selection in four of the past five seasons, has been nominated for 2004 ESPY Awards as the Best Male Athlete and the Best NFL Player. He previously won an ESPY in 1998 for Best College Football Player.
Manning’s competition for Best Male Athlete: cyclist Lance Armstrong, basketball player Kevin Garnett of the Minnesota Timberwolves, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and baseball player Barry Bonds of the San Francisco Giants.
His competition for Best NFL Player: Brady, Kansas City Chiefs running back Priest Holmes, Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair, Baltimore Ravens running back Jamal Lewis and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis.
