Yes, American Casino has been an interesting show. It is a true behind the scenes look at what really goes on among employees in a casino business.

It's completely unlike Fox's joke of a show "The Casino".

I've been watching all the installments. Its much better than the sensationalist bullshit they're showing on FOX and I enjoy it.

Did she really say, and does anyone really believe that a bartender/cocktail waitress in the High Limit area can make $300,000-400,000 in cash tips in one year???!!!

I just sat there in front of my TV and was like...WHAT???? Forget telling your daughter to grow up and be a doctor or lawyer, the goal is High Limit area cocktail waitress. Only in America.

She has to make $1,000 a day five days a week to make $260,000.

Most of the girls at my place make between 70-125k a year. There are a few that hustle that make more. It would not shock me if she made that much.

just got back and stayed at gvr for the sixth time. i love this place. i told the dice pit on graveyard that the show makes them loook a little off. the guy that jumps in the water seems to love the drink????

Breaking down the waitress' salary into how much she has to make per day is irrelevant...as anyone that works for tips will tell you, there's some days that really suck and you wonder why you bothered going to work, and then there are days when you hit the jackpot (and in this case, in the VIP area, she has a much bigger chance to get MUCH bigger tips than waitresses that are working the main floor).
