Gents,

I am still trying to get ahold of either one of you. If you could give me a ring, it would be appreciated. 800-214-9666

LOL...well, Pete, in this industry I have had people ask about Kelly Slater and Christian Slater...never AC Slater....so you win the prize... a free $25 account. Call 800-430-5896 and ask for Tommy in New Accounts. He is aware of the details and will get you started immediately.

Thie nice thing about doing Business with SPORTBET is that JAKE is very accesible, it is nice to know you can email or Phone the General Manager & he will field your calls & querry your concerns...

Have to admit however the rest of the customer service team needs a bit of help...especially in the 'tone of voice' department. Customers want to feel valued however I have to admit on the calls I have made to sportbet I have felt that the Front Line staff could use Help....Just a friendly FYI Jake.

jake...betmaker was the first book i ever bet with back in 1998!!! were you there then??

SportsSavant,

Brother, thanks. I need feedback, I really do. It is slow season, and sometimes the CS level tends to drop around this time (vacation syndromes, supervisors and managers are not around as much, etc...). I do strive to make sure that my people understand the true value of Customer Service and, as opposed to the past, we have improved a great deal. HOWEVER, a company can ALWAYS improve its service, and this feedback will help. So, thanks.

Dante,

Thanks for the welcome. I am still always here, just not posting as much...until yesterday. LOL.

Buzz,

GREAT! Thank you, sir.

IDENTITY,

Yessir, I was there, then. I was a CS rep, then New Accounts Coordinator, then CS supervisor, and finally CS Manager. This was from 1998-2000.

Jake seems like a nice enough guy in that he response to posts at least. Wasn't thrilled with the way the Finger Lakes thing was handled nor should it be rehashed but the players were paid and thats all that counts now.

Continued success into the FB season

Hey Jakester,

Just called you, but you were not available. I'm running out, I wanna spend some time with my kid.

Let's touch bases on Monday.

P.S.: Dave says you're as sharp as marble in Texas Hold'em, then again I've scalped his ass every time we played and I didn't even know how to play hold'em...

HTRC,

I understand your feelings on the Finger Lakes episode completely. Gold Medal Sports (which I am no longer a part of) did pay all monies owed, however. Please understand that was, what I feel, a very unique situation as a bunch of books offshore were hit with the same play. Regardless, as you say, it is done and over with and I made sure the client got paid. I hope that does not deter you from playing with us, rather it should show you that I look out for my players and my company to the nth degree.

Jake

Will,

Monday is fine. Sorry I missed you...I was on the line with another client. As for my Texas Hold'em skills, let's just say there is a reason everyone is excited when they hear I am gonna play...and it is not just cuz I make em laugh. LOL.

Jake
