Smarty Jones, had part of his future mapped out for him yesterday. He will stand at stud at Three Chimneys Farm near Midway, Ky. at the end of his racing career, and it will be up to his owners and not the breeding farm to decide how long he will keep racing. One of Kentucky's top breeding establishments, Three Chimneys Farm was the home of Seattle Slew, who won the 1977 Triple Crown and died in 2002. Like Smarty Jones, Seattle Slew had a perfect 8-for-8 record going into the Belmont Stakes. Silver Charm and Point Given, who will provide company for Smarty Jones at Three Chimneys, each won two-thirds of the Triple Crown.
