Halladay fails to answer the bell for the 6th!!

The guy was really roughed up tonight, I hope and pray he did not sustain any serious injury.

I have been reading your blatant homerism on this team for awhile. But I have been riding them myself for quite awhile. I had to take the 11 cents tonight though, so it is a hollow victory for me.

That wild pitch from Zambrano last time out was ectehd in my brain.

It's hard to believe that books keep putting out Tampa as a dog.

They were +115 first line yesterday. I bought back at -104. My buddy said Tor hit +100 at Freemont (boyd's/Stardust).

I saw 1.14, 1.15 Hol? Best on net I saw was DRays -1.08, takeback -.02. Was still high early this AM, with full limits up. I decided not to scalp. This even got hit hard in squarer shops, Brit books. I think move of day...Best Wishes...OF

Pin was -104 both ways right at game time, thats what I took, I was home that is why I didn't see the line in town. "Cost" me about 7 bux or so I guess, I rounded off a little, I get lazy with the math sometimes.

As I posted in the bases forum I got them at 1.03 ... made a two unit play on them I liked the price so well, which is a good thing since St. Louis decided to shit the bed at Pittsburgh tonight.

Phaedrus - nice way to make write up your plays for the night. Tuff beat with Cards losing on a game winning error to the Pirates. Hope the Rangers get there for you. Congrats on the double pop.

?

I seldom do write ups ... if you mean the way it's laid out, that's how I do all of my picks in every sport since I started posting here two years and change ago ... gets the info across with no mess.

I seldom do write ups because they always sound stupid when I read them back, and any time I voice strong confidence in any given play it tanks like the Titanic. I'm not a superstitious person really, but I know a trend when I see one. I think it's actually a subcoscious thing -- I start writing about the angles I see because I am not 100% on the play, and therefore any time I feel the need to start justifying a play I just scratch it off the card and forget about it.

Incredible loss by St. Louis, as bad or worse than the 14-4 pounding that Cincinnati took from Pittsburgh the other night. The way the Cards were playing I had already written that one off by the sixth inning anyway.

Yes I am referring to the way the plays are laid out. Maybe the phrase "write up" was inaccurate. Detailed write-ups are fine but not always necessary especially when a simple pick is accompanied by the line, book, unit size, and record to date of the handicapper. This information leaves it up to anyone interested to play, fade, or pass the picks with no quess work.

I see what you mean. I do try to keep it simple. I don't know if anybody plays my plays, fades my plays or whatever -- I notice I tend to get a decent number of views in MLB and NBA which is very flattering if people are actually taking my efforts seriously.

[EDIT: Just checked the scores and the Rangers pounded the Mariners

got Tampa early Sunday night at +115....Jays were +108 at the same book at game time.....book has a reputation for dealing a square line and a sharper line so, I'm not sure if everyone was able to get the swing..

point of the post, however is that the Rays +115 was obviously way off.....what does this team have to do to get the respect of the linemaker?
