A lot of talk about books cutting back baseball limits these days. When this happens imo while inconvient for some heavier players, it is better than having a book expose itself to more risk than it can comfortably afford. I mean to me it is a sign of fiscal responsibility to cut back limits to EVERYONE when a book is losing decisions out of proportion.

Baseball is far from the greatest sport for sportsbooks. I have spoken to several sportsbook owners who have stated that they would close for the summer if that wouldn't piss off their cutomers. Obviously books can't close for the summer, but the fact that people have even joked about it indicates that baseball overall is not great for the books.
