Why didnt the Irish go for 2?

I dont understand that.....We are in the 4th quarter, they get a td to go up by 1, why wouldn't u go for 2 to get a fg lead?

Is a 2pt lead better than 1?

I know a 3pt lead is sure better than 2..

Love the way the irish are playing, but don't understand that call at all...

Very bad decision. I keep thinking about how it might make sense and it just doesn't. There is no defending it.

yeah, to be honest, after they block the punt and score fast again, it looked like a good decision, cuz now you are up 2 scores...

But it was still the WRONG CALL at the time...
