Wow ! It's tough !

To take a kitten from a shelter, is tough !

They ask more questions than a mortgage lender ! I almost thought I needed my attorney, present !

It's good in a way, but overblown ! They even make you wait a month !

I promised to not let the cat outdoors, not de-claw it, have it neutered, all shots ( of course ! ).

They want to know where I work, who my vet is, if I have kids, if I rent /own, and more !

They will review application, and get back to me !

It's a kitten, not a child !

A tad overblown ? I can see them wanting to place the animal in a good home, but this seems too much.

After previous cat getting run-over, this one won't be allowed out, EVER !

There's always the option of getting a kitten from the kid in front of Stop and Shop ! They don't grill you !

The reason for this is because of all the crazy's out there that go to pet shelters to get animals for satanic rituals, and for just the intent to abuse them. Crazy world we live in, but it happens all the time, therefore the shelters must screen you to determine that you are legit
