Miami also grossly overrated, they have 1 pitcher and a 3 hitter that can run a little, basically a team that had a marshmaellow schedule and living off of a reputation from 10 years ago.

Scar might be the only SEC team with any gusto, but they cant hit a lick.

I said at the offset Titans and Horn on one level, then a drop off for other 6, I was correct.

I stand by that Beach and Titans are 2 best teams in the nation.

Horns will get their feelings hurt if they face Justin Windsor.

Rail, facing Texas twice, Miami's Carillo, and CSF's Windsor, plus an elimination game involving same conference teams is a sure way for ANY conference to get it's feelings hurt..especially one with good not great teams.

Will CSF get there feelings hurt in the two non-Windsor starts if play Texas in Finals?

Most knew CSF was legit darkhorse, and I agreed with your Miami questions off their UF showing, as your Az but a few errors vs UGa in their first game from being 2-0 is the real surprise.

Despite but two teams, West Coast Baseball has shined thus far..no doubt!

Still sticking in my craw that Ole Miss gets a home regional, give them Fullerton schedule they are a .350 winning pct tops. Meanwhile Beach has to travel to Palo Alto.

Its not fair, it carries over to hoops, and the systeym needs to be tweaked.

I agree, as Ole Miss and Ark have great frosh baseballers, but actually overachieved to finish where they did, and their green steps in the post season were expected.

LBS deserved a better draw no doubt, but your aim may be better suited to weak RPI teams like Notre Dame, Ga Tech, and a few ACCers, that always get Supers via playing soft schedules, then fall on their faces to mostly average teams sent to them.

As the SEC by playing 9 into 6 into 4..proved itself and then some!

Just because a weak pitching year yields 4 of the Final 8, but none good enough to beat the super elite staffs doesn't mean fraud.

Is Arizona the 3rd best team in Omaha? Yes

Is Arizona the 3rd best team in the Pac10? No

ASU,Pepperdine also get raw deal having to go to Fullerton.
Washington,UCLA, forced to travel,#1 in nation Stanford gets hosed by facing Weaver.

SEC turns 9 into 6 into 4 becasue they all get home draws and have to play Youngstown State and the Stonybrooks.

Utah State hoops gets screwed over, winning 25 games.

And dont even get me started on Trojan Football last 2 years, and of course its an SEC team that gets a Home Championship game their again.

the L2 years if they had a true college football playoff - USC would be the 2-time defending national champion - end of discussion

I always wondered why they call SoCal "LaLa land".... then I read a few or Rail's rants and it all becomes clear.

Fish,

I said rants, not picks. You know, poor ole Pac 10, Stanford is #1, etc. But just curious since you're following his picks, what is his CWS record?

I just love CWS, I preferred watching the MIAMI vs S.Carolina game than any MLB...

my team is and always will be Miami but after yesterdays game I think Texas has the championship lock!

Was that an SEC team that punked AZ and just sent them home? Anyone know?

Also do me a favor and grade these 2 tennis plays for me

Can I grade the AZ to win it all and your golf plays on Phil and Shigeki too? Your simply amazing... hate the SEC, rank AZ the 3rd best team in the tourney and then take GA.... what a man. You are just simply amazing.... any chance you'll break even on Wimbledon as opposed to how you did on the Australian Open? Will those tennis plays get you even for the week? If so, congrats.

EGD - you're not serious are you? USC would have kicked LSU's ass on a neutral field.

I would have given any of you USC lovers +7.5 & enjoy taking your money.

LSU had the best defense in the country. They shut down the #1 offense & made them look ordinary while USC beat up on a bunch of weak ass teams & an average Michigan team.

USC proved nothing last year while LSU played in the ultra tough SEC conference.

i wouldn't have taken the +7.5 instead i would have wanted USC on the M/L. no need to take +7.5 when your team will win SU anyway.

and 2 years ago - USC would have mopped the field with the ohio state team that was the mythical national champs. USC would have won by at least 10 points.
