Why don't the Yankees go out and get this guy for the second half? He's the best young pitcher in baseball.

Sheets , why can't Milwaukee keep him!!?? this is whats wrong with baseball...the guy should be their cornerstone...not a Yankees pennant clinching pickup...unfvcking real man...

in case you hadn't noticed Hitman...Milwaukee is a Major League baseball team!

As if they haven't secured enough players from other teams !!!! Damn, I cannot believe what has happened to this once great game!

Why don't they just sign every teams best player who isn't contending this year

They won't be getting Sheets but even if they did, stop bitching about it.

Once again I point out that George puts money to put the best product out there & try to win at the same time while alot of other teams eat money. Some of these teams picked up decent money from revenue sharing yet still look to trim what are already small payrolls.

Instead of blaming the Yankees for "what has happened to the game", blame the owners who care more about the bottom line then the fans & the product itself.

please spare me ...the field is so damn lopsided its disgusting....of course some owners are buffoons, Chi, Tex, etc...but that doesn't change the fact that NY can buy a pennant!

George is what he is because of where he is...he is the same guy who was banned a few years back.

The truth hurts which is why you can't & won't put up a legitimate response to what I wrote.

The team still has to go out & earn anything they get.

The owners aren't as stupid as some people think. They are just greedy money hungry pigs.

If you think having the same 3 teams contend every year no matter what, or that being able to pluck frontline players (3-4 hitters, aces, etc) in August just to patch holes is good for baseball more power to you...

Yankees revenue/income far exceeds other teams....winning or being in the World Series the past decade has nothing to do with having the top organization, drawing the most fans...

Are you saying Milwaukee has the same revenue as the Yankees?

First off have you learned to read the dates yet?

Secondly I never said all teams have the same revenue but alot of teams don't choose to put the money they make on their team back into putting out the best product possible. They rather pocket the money & trim what are already small payrolls.

Once again stop avoiding the topic, please explain how owners pocketing money & not putting it into the team & offering inferior products helps the game.

I won't hold my breath for a legitimate answer.

Who is avoiding the topic lmao?

The point was made...You insist that the NYY earn their Championships fairly, I say they have an unfair advantage....Most people would agree with me...

NY is one of the biggest markets for sports if not the biggest. It is a fact that they will make more money then teams in a market such as Cincinnati but to tarnish their accomplishments just shows the biased attitude & jealously many have.
