Funny, they know this is the time of year where books usually make pretty good money. Get a ton of action from the degenerates that need to have something riding and there isn't anything else to choose from. Most sharps are on vacation or about to hit it next week with All-Stars. And best of all for the books, most people won't care in less than a month when football begins so what is left is usually people playing for action or guys that are stuck and upping their bets trying to get it back. Definitely the little secret of bookies, but July and August action is a nice money maker for them as form starts to hold and the quality of bets they face starts to drop.
