The five-year contract that free agent center Adonal Foyle agreed to with the Warriors on Monday is worth $41.6 million, his agent Lon Babby, told ESPN.
The deal, according to Babby, starts at $6.5 million next season and has a team option in Year 6 for a little over $10 million. Free agent contracts can't be officially signed until July 14.
Foyle averaged 3.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks in 44 games in an injury-plagued 2003-2004 season for the Warriors. He's coming off a four-year, $17 million contract with Golden State.
Foyle's numbers sure earned him that pay raise.
