What do you think of Pinnacle now and their "genius"?

They opened Ana/Chi -159/+151 I bet it for a nice scalp amount. It went to -152/+144, about 20 minutes later it was -147/+139. Then about 10 minutes later it was off the board.

I looked last night late and still OTB, got up early and it was -130/+132. Now it is all the way down to -123/+115.

I mean that is a pretty steep drop don't you think. The fact that is opened and then went OTB means something was up. I didn't see any injuries, and they had Sele and Loaiza listed. The bet is still active.

It is an obvious buy back at almost 20 cents. And since I am back in CA I am more than likely going to have to bet it in house at Pin, unless by some miracle Canbet has a better numner (currently at -127)or I get someone on the phone that is going to bet this game, which is a pretty early start time for the west coast crew.

I didn't track the numbers the past couple days as I was coming back. But I know of a couple that weren't too good yesterday as they oepend Det a nice dog against NYY, they took money back and forth. but still offered the better number on the Tigers by almost a dime.

You can buy back Chicago at -120 at Ladbrokes. Typical of this shop while they have the best number now on the Sox their Anaheim line is also -120!

I guess you don't have this out in California

One footnote. If White Sox do win this game, then maybe they are geniuses, or just lucky?

Also on some of their totals. I didn't really look at those yesterday, but I see a couple that have gone from 8.5 to 9.5 and those are fre middle shots on a 9. The Ana/Chi game is listed at an opener of 7.5 with a move still at 7.5. Can't confirm that, but I did see an 8.5, and is now 9.5.

I can't confrim this one either, but according to one place The total on Tex/Cle opened 9.5 and is now 11 (obviously weather related. But that is a middle AND a side, with the under being the plus side.

Totals were the big scalp shots easrlier but faded away, but today looks like a banner day had anyone taken leads early. As at least 5 games offers middles and sides at scalpable numbers. So basically free shots.

I was wrong, it actually wnet down to -117, inching up slightly at Pin now at -118. Obviously "lost" that 3 cents, but considering the spread THAT 3 cents isn't a big deal. BY far the biggest move I have seen in baseball this year, and even last. EDIT: just as i typed this it wnet up almost eveyrwhere but Pin

From top to bottom, that was a 42 cent swing. Even 2 dollar lines don't move that much.

BTW OmnivourousFrog. I know you track the lines too, was wondering if you saw any totals yesterday like I mentioned above?

I got on a few scalps due to Pinnacle posting tomorrow's lines sometime after 9AM EST yesterday. When CRIS & Oly came out with their lines around the normal time, there were big differences from what Pinnacle had even after the early line movement, which then made them proceed to take all the games otb.

I scalped these (original play on the left)

Mets +163/Phillies -158

Dbacks +208/Giants -162

Angels +151/WSox -133

Jays +113/Mariners +107

Drays +203/Yankees -160
