It's always possible but I think the combination of having to overcome:

Guerrero and Ivan Rodriguez for batting average

His teammate Ortiz and Guerrero for RBIs

and ARod for homers

is too formidable IMO.

I think he can take homers the easiest.

And frankly, Ortiz is more likely to get hurt and miss significant at bats.

I was saying with Ortiz taking so many of Manny's RBI away, it just makes it that much harder, with the year Ramirez is having, he should have 20 more RBI right now!

manny just hit two HR's in 2 2/3 innings. (it is now top of the 4th as I type this) he absolutely crushed the 2nd one, it nearly went into the standing room only area in center field. longtime sox commentator jerry remy said he had not seen on hit there before.

and also, manny is now just 1 RBI back of team mate david ortiz. im so in awe its tough to think of what i want to type. that was absolutely jaw dropping.
