Unrestricted free agent guard Brent Barry will sign a four-year deal with the San Antonio Spurs for between $22 and $24 million, a source told ESPN's David Aldridge.

I would of thought a 6'5 point/SG who can actually shoot would be worth more than that. He might end up being only a spot up shooter in that offense though.

Probably the missing piece. What did he shoot from 3 line last season? 45% Lakers sagged off the line and watched Spurs miss open treys all series long. Would you leave him alone on the line? Favorite in the West now. Rockets big gain, Lakers huge drop. Going to be a great NBA season. Wil, any significant NFL roster moves? This is the time to start putting some football time in. Any tidbits are appreciated. Best Wsihes...OF

Curious move by both Barry and SA. I thought Barry would end up in Houston since they don't have a PG and just signed McGrady.

Barry is really underrated in my opinion.

Amazing how salaries have gone through the roof. A player like Barry gets 22 million and the fact that we can even entertain the idea that he is worth more is to me unreal. I am not saying he isn't worth more, just commenting on the salaries pro atheletes demand these days.

Isn't a four year deal a bit much for Barry?
He's got some miles on him.
