Essentially an exibition game and a pain in the ass for most bookies, I see the NL is favored.

Not that I will bet much on the game, but have to go on record early and say any plus 125 or better is my play.

This is the best starting nine that both teams have assembled in the same year in recent memory.

For starters, the NL outfield consists of three guys with 500+ career homers.........

How about the NL pitching staff? Clemens and RJ (both over 4000 K's) and Schmidt. Then you have Gagne closing. Can the AL score in this one?

With MANNY in the AL line-up, I would say yes.

AL got to Gagne last year. All star game pitching is really hard to cap, I don't see either Johnson or Clemons going more than an inning each. Schmidt may go 2. My thinking is take the dog and enjoy the game. Curious to see where the total moves to by game day. Maybe we will get a now famous Pinny play - if they end up hanging a number begging everyone to bet one way or the other. Eg. 9.5 Under -138.
