i don't know the lines to these, but Bonds has to be the favorite... I'd honestly give him a little over even money.. He can't be more than 2-1 to win it..

I think Oritz or Thome, but Sammy is pretty experienced in these things.

Final answer, going with Oritz. Raw power and a great clutch contact hitter with youth.

Bonds was the chalk when I left the IP this morning. I kinda think Blalack or Raffy or even hometown boy Berkman are worth a shot at those odds.

Take into account the short left porch at Minute Maid/Enron. That will definitely hurt some of the lefties.

The distance to the fences should matter a bit for these guys, its all about who gets into a groove, not like the right handers will be hitting 320 foot popups that become homers by mistake that would be outs in other parks, they are hitting balls lobbed in to them, Bonds is the best HR hitter in the game, he should win this.

its been a while since the fav won. . and Peter Gammons had said today that it was Bonds to lose. Make a believer out of me, put on a show.

Bonds should win - if they (as mentioned on Sportscenter) pitch to him.

I like Thome to win too....

I am curious to see how Sammy does, and where will thse balls be traveling ....will MLB break out those super duper superballs they use for these contests?

I think Sosa will bomb tonight...

Weakest field I think we have seen in quite a while...

ORTIZ at 10-1 presented the best value IMO.

Threw a c-note on him for some action.

The pre Home Run Derby show is worse than a super bowl halftime. Nothing like milking a non-event for all its worth.
