By this I mean August is preseason, Jan is postseason. Sept thru Dec are reg season 1-4. In a real life example, you may just watch preseason, fumble in Sept getting your bearings, improve in Oct and Nov, and just close out the regular season strong, only to blow it in the playoffs. So you would be reg season #4. Or December. Good self analysis here...Best wishes...OF

Of course no two seasons are the same, but generally when are your best months.

Not sure about the month but I like the last 4 weeks of the regular season. By then the contenders and the pretenders are pretty much sorted out. I like to play games where I know both teams will lay it all on the line which happens when playoff spots are on the line.

For some reason I do well early, almost every year...

I feel though, its easiest to figure out who is who later in the year (Nov)...

I seem to struggle in mid year and thats always where I have problems...

PreSeason is the best money making time! Certain coach's don't care bout winning, certain coach,'s put alot on winning! totals are fairly easy in preseason!

For me preseason continues to be a mystery, even though I am a "coach" bettor some of the time. I just cannot gain any confidence betting teams that will be playing backups and potential cuts. Not saying it is wrong, just for me not very successful in the past.

Reg. Season 2-3.

I seem to do very well in October and November. Didn't have a losing week last year in those two months, and have traditionally done well in those spots.

Stumbled a bit in the beginning last year, more so than usual. December was a good month, but I've had trouble there before. Had my best weekend ever last year in Week 17. Det. at home, Ariz. at home, caught a stale +8 on Pittsburgh at Balt. in the Sunday night game. You get the picture.

I'm always cautious in the playoffs. Would rather reinvest the NFL profits in NBA as I find January to always be a good month there.

October and November always seem to stand out. Maybe I need to play Oregon Lottery and Power Ball Lottery this October and November.

Playoffs are golden, especially with the props thrown in. Too bad so few games...

September and January. I don't really know why but been wagering for 17 years and its that way year after year. September is explained by generally soft lines but why I do well in Bowl games and NFl play-offs I have no idea.
