I think the most overpaid free agent deal goes to:

Warriors center Adonal Foyle re-signing with Golden State for six years and $42 million.

$7 million a year for this:
2003: 13 min/game, 3.1 points, 3.8 rebounds
2002: 22 min/game, 5.4 points, 6.0 rebounds
2001: 19 min/game, 4.8 points, 4.9 rebounds

Okur got a lot of money, but this deal has to have it beat.

Etan Thomas: ESPN Insider Chad Ford reported Friday afternoon that the Bucks were seriously considering offering the Wizards' big man a six-year deal for between $37 and $39 million -- roughly the full mid-level exception. Thomas averaged 8.9 ppg and 6.7 rpg but is considered an undersized center at just 6-foot-9.

Probably a good deal (these days) for the Bucks.

Monster deal:
In the hopes of discouraging New Jersey from matching the deal, the Denver Nuggets have included one of the largest signing bonuses in NBA history -- one worth at least $15 million -- in the six-year, approximately $82.3 million offer sheet they are prepared to give Nets restricted free agent Kenyon Martin, sources told ESPN's David Aldridge on Tuesday night.
