With teams like Houston, Anaheim, Boston and Florida struggling to live up to preseason billing.....

Who has the most value at making a strong second half run and a winning ticket?

The Astros will have to climb over atleast two strong teams...you know the Cubs will finish strong...
The Cardinals will have to seriously implode for Houston to pass them...

I stated at the beginning of the year that the BRAVES should not be counted out.

I will stay with that assumption.

ps- I also predicted HOUSTON to defeat BOSTON in the World Series.

I like Anaheim to run away in the 2nd half.Houston will be better in 2nd half but if they get close the collar around their neck will get tighter as usual. Also remember that Clemens won't repeat 1st half performence. Most teams will be better prepared 2nd time around

Save your money. Houston will NOT make the playoffs. This has to be one of the most over hyped teams in recent history. No hitting, no defense, no speed, no one has proven to be a clutch player. The pitching has been average except for Clements and Lidge. Even if the starting pitchers give them a chance the bullpen will blow it. Fade the Astros on the road. Fade them at home when Clements is not pitching.

I think if Florida can add a bat, watch out again for the Marlins

quote:
I think if Florida can add a bat, watch out again for the Marlins

letting pudge go was expected. letting Jaun Encarnacion go was just stupid. that guy was very very key for their offense last year.
