The General-Party question

I know about how to get the free room and i'll be getting with Glenda tomorrow.

What about the party itself? I'm trying to gather as many people together as I can, so my posse could be anywhere from 2 to 10. Does somebody need to know how many people are coming or what? Is there food at this party, because it seems like if there is then maybe they would like to know an approximate headcount or something. Just thinking out loud here The General. Do we RSVP or what? What is the deadline, because I don't want to miss it.

The Shrink, right now there are four of us, but it could be as many as 16. If that's a problem, then i'll just tell the rest of them that it won't work out and not to get flights and all that.

The party is being catered for 200 people...

I guess if that doesn't put us over, then it is ok...

However, this party is INTENDED mainly as an appreciation for our posters, and not 16 guests...

Try and use your head here because a few is fine, but 16 is pushing it...

Guess we'll be busy then as I invited my whole family from 4 states for a re-union as well. No worries about food though because I am bringing several buckets of KFC. Should be plenty.

I am going to jump in here because Shrink, Fishhead, and General are just trying to be nice.

I feel sure Shrink intends this for LOYAL followers of TheRX.

You would have no problem bringing a (ONE) date, wife, friend, or whatever.

But.... You are an ASS for even talking about 4... much less 16 guests. Are you crazy?

That is just about 1 guest for every 3+ posts you have EVER made.

I must agree here as well...Ken & Marty are providing this bash, for rx posters, as an appreciation for their support, and to invite 16 extra people is ridiculous...

Same as i have seen some posters saying they are coming, and they never do anything but criticize Ken and everything he does, and the rx constantly...Seems funny that some will put all their skepticism aside, and criticisms for a free meal...

Jasper since your in Vegas, join us at the bash with a guest, and have your friends enjoy a 4.95 prime rib buffet somewhere....

Bucsfan, I have never criticzed the shrink or anybody else. The shrink, I understand what you're saying, but I was just talking to one of my friends about this and he made a good point. He said that maybe you should look at it like a show of appreciation for POTENTIAL posters as well as regular posters. It's something to think about anyways. Hey Packer, why are you always on my ass???
