lol bigbet, I dunno, just curious is all, since you just hit your 1st 3 teamer. Just thought that possibly you've followed sports for a while, but haven't been wagering long, or that you just don't run parlays that often. Either way, Congrats!
lol Rob, Ive come close a few times.(several on another forum can attest to) Always one that seems to do ya in. When you lay it in the beginning it's really no big deal, but when you do find out you are really close, and one game costs you, it's just too much on the heart......
I played 2 11-teamers in college basketball in the same week last year. One day I went 8 for 11, with one push and two losses. Two days later, I went 9 for 11, and one loss was by one point. I would like to think that I'll hit one once in my life, but I doubt it. I'm gonna try to hit a 6-teamer in college football this year, and then go from there. I'm a parlay freak, but I think anything over 6 teams is damn near impossible. I think that if you like parlays, 3 teamers are the way to go.
i know someone who hit a 8 team parlay and a 7 team parlay in the same night...the 8 team paid 50k (but should have paid 62k but was capped) and the 7 team paid 18k...he hit for a total of 72k that night and was paid every penny...
but the best part of the story was that the last game that he hit to win both parlays was the last game of this years San Jose/Calgary Western conference finals hockey match which he had Calgary -1.5 goals...if anybody remembers the game calgary scored a empty net goal with .1 seconds left in the game where the TV didnt even show the goal as they zeroed in on Calgary celebrating and STeve Levy didnt mention the final score was 3-1 until about 10 minutes after the game ended....crazy stuff
