Dodgers were up 7-6 in the 9th, 2 outs. Mota was hitting. Instead of pinch-hitting, they let Mota go to the plate.

Guess the Dodgers have ultimate confidence in Gagne. Who needs another run when you know Gagne is (almost) automatic?

Hmmmmmmm. Or maybe the Dodgers simply didn't have any batters left. Looks like they used lots of subs in this game. Anybody know?

Gagne's last 7 outs have all been Ks. Amazing.

didn't catch the end of the game but i would almost have to say the last part is correct - no more hitters left.

if they had another hitter they probably would have used him figuring WTF - he would never get to hit anyway after "game over" came in
