WOW, i haven't seen a team look as dead as Texas has for 7 1/2 innings come bacl and take a lead like they did, maybe ever...

Reminds me of a game back in like 1999 when Houston blew a 9 run lead in the 8th or 9th inning vs Milwaukee. Anyone else rememebr that??

Anyway, I do believe a miracle occured for me to pull this game out of the fire, i had Texas BIG if you coouldn't tell! LOL

No, it's not over...still need three outs in top of ninth.

We have an interest in this one on accounta we did not play today except for a single $10 five-way parlay that saw the first four legs come in, leaving only Texas minus the runline to score $380.

Like Brock, we were watching the game via the miracle of the Internet, and when Fullmer walked we thought, "Well if Texiera was to jack now, we just might have to spew on our desktop"

Cleaning up the mess now, and cheering for three more scoreless outs!

Another relief pitcher (Vinie Chulk) gives up a grand slam late. Rangers 7 runs on 5 hits. Go figure. Congrats to Texas and over bettors.

wil.

oh my

well that was our biggest single payout for one wager in over three years.

heh

We selected the five choices (fwiw, ATL RL, NYM, OAK RL, PIT UND, and TEX RL)...then were about to use the minimum at Carib - $5 to win about $190 - but felt lucky and punched the $10 selection instead.

Hell, we have about $250 balance...and at 37 to 1?

PLEASURE - Winning 37 to 1 parlay
PAIN - What if I'd busted out for more than $10?

Hope everyone else had a good weekend based on their own choices....seeya manana with return to regular action!

This game for me was a true fashion of "it's not over til it's over"..

I had Texas....and I thought for sure the lights were out..I was so frustrated thinking..HOW CAN THEY NOT SCORE MORE THAN 1 RUN....Then....it started to unfold in the 8th...when the Jays got two quick outs I was cussing...then when the bases were loaded..on gameday boom.. RUN-SCORING PLAY on the first pitch...perhaps just an infield single I thought...nope...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAND SLAM

whew..

Too bad the Twins screwed me out of having a GREAT night.

Texas Rangers' Mark Teixeira, left, is congratulated by teammates Laynce Nix, center and Michael Young, right, following an eighth-inning grand slam by Teixeira off of Toronto Blue Jays reliever Vinnie Chulk, Sunday in Arlington, Texas. The Rangers won, 7-5.
