I LOVE it.

More steam = more discrepancy = better odds IMO.

For bases only - not that big a deal, you can gain or lose a few cents waiting until the last minute. Pointspread sports are another matter, waiting for a football game to start can cost half or even a full point, natrually you can also have a game move in your favor. If you play your own stuff then waiting can be beneficial if steam goes against you, playing dogs waiting also not a bad idea, favs many times go up right at post.

I prefer to wait until the lineups are released. For example, Jose Vidro isn't playing for the Expos tonight.

Right now, I'd say Vidro is one of the 5 most important players to his team. Bonds, Vlad, Pujols, Rolen. When they're not in the lineup, it totally changes the pitching/hitting strategy.

Instead of Vidro, Montreal has Batista (.230) hitting 3rd. Then you've got Rivera (.251), Wilkerson (.227), Johnson (.248) and Schneider (.245).

When the Expos don't play Vidro, welcome to Fade City...and I'm the mayor!
