I feel like this is choosing the lesser of evils here Fez. I agree on the location and convenience being important so with that in mind...Barleys. There is one no one else would think of I am sure...

As for presentation and variety of wagers I would have to go with the Imperial Palace.

I am also partial to places that still use handwriting and magnetic teams, preferably the books that still use San Diego Clippers for the LA Clips.

Bellagio. I like their comfortable chairs while I watch how my off-shore wagers come out.
DI was best.
I, too, like IP for wagering opps. Sam's Town is great as you get Stardust line without the oft-cited street diversity and crowds.

I may be in the minority here because I never hear anyone mention it but I like the Palms.Even though they don't take NBA action. It is easy to get to.Nice board and lots of talent all over the joint.

Back in the old days (80's) I loved to play at the late Sonny Reizner's Hole in the wall sportsbook in the Castaways. Not a place to stay and watch games, but an excellent place to run into and bet. You could even ask Sonny if he had any six on a game posted 5.5, ya never knew he might just give you a little. Sonny invented the original Frankenstein parlay card for Monday night football, it had all kids of props that today we take for granted, but back then were un-heard of. Fun stuff for small money. You could also get down for a few dimes on any position.

I like watching my action at the Mirage, especially during the Tournament, and I like the Imperia; Palace as far as making wagers. it was even better back in the day when the Cocktail waitresses wore them blue outfits

Fezzik, Are you asking which book has the most comfortable chairs, big screen TV's or the book that gives the player a fair shake?

I'm going to say the GN because you can make a wager there without being looked at like you have a gun in your hand.

Started in the business under Sonny in 1986 as writer/cashier and was there for the last two years of the operation.

Good choice Wil!

The Orleans.
Easy parking, big screens, not that crowded, very few loud nitwits.

I bet Fezzik's lists The stardust in his top three. That way he can suck up to his buddy Bob Scucci. That place is a dive. The chairs and T.V.'s are from the 1970's.

The Golden Nugget, Stardust, Mirage, and Mandalay Bay are sure to find their way into his top ten.

ps- IMO, Sunset Station is nicer than Green Valley Ranch........better viewing area for games and a friendlier staff than Green Valley.

In fact, SUNSET is my all-time favorite place to watch the games.

Very true.....the IP can be labeled feast and/or famine in many areas.

The castaways was great.

Mandy Bay is great to watch games and races, comfortable chairs.

Mirage works really good but the chairs suck and during the tourney its too crowded.

The Barbary Coast is one of my favorite only because of the love I have for the property.

I think the Venetian works good, comfortable and roomy.
