Whats your opinion ?(Pinny-Horse-?)

In Pinnys horse rules it clearly states the limits per race track.If I am betting at a 5000 max pay off race track per race.And I bet 1000 to win on a horse that goes off at 10-1 and it loses should I lose the whole 1000 or should I lose 500.The reason I ask is becouse sometimes some of the money bet has no shot of collecting,yet will be lost if the horse loses.If the 10-1 horse wins and I bet 1000 to win I only collect,win 5000.I fully understand this.
Do you think we should lose the full 1000????

Greenhead If you are betting Delmar which I m assuming you are you can win up to 50000 a race there.The 5000 are for smaller tracks .aawied

You probably shouldn't lose the full $1,000, but you will.

It is about as good as gets 7% u rebate unlimited bets full track odds with caps depending on track.no taxes pay fast.

aawied,I was betting a horse on the fairs.And they only have a 5000 max pay out.You just dont know the "off" odds on a horse,untill after the race goes off to make a intelligent bet.

YES you should its not there fault that you dont know the odds are on horse you are bettig on.If you are betting 1000 dollars to win at a 5000 cap track you are over betting .there is a good chance if this is one of the tracks they are putting into the pools it would knock down within limits. Good luck tonight you dont have to worry about small pools at DelMar tou can bet what like and sometimes the price will go up

Absoluley NOT.I only use them for PICK 4's, TRI's,and SUPER TRIS.I have a very large appetite.I have lots and lots of "outs".

I just wanted others opinion on this.

is there a way to bet horses vs. each other at pinny?

for example:

TRACK XYZ RACE #5

bet horse 1 (-120) to beat horse 4 (+115)....

newbie at bettin on ponies so any info/advice would be appreciated....thanks in advance

Go to prps and futures it will give you match ups on some horses. ehorse has a betting exchange. Bet fair I have been told is the best.
