ATTN: Webtv Users

Infopop has made the following statement about the use of Webtv and the new forum platform.

And to think that I first started with WebTv. Man--I thought that was the greatest invention since Ice-Cream! I would have kept it, but not enough telephone lines.

I know we have several Web-Tv posters here at The Rx. I know this because web-tv groups any user together with identical IPs no matter where they are at geographically. I will try to contact all web-tv Rxers and explain.

I worked DTV customer support/techinical assistance in Florida. I lasted 3 weeks and never made it out of training, I hated it.

Obviously, you can't do much with webtv. But back in those days when computers were super expensive and the internet was in it's infancy---Webtv was great and only cost $99. Could surf the net and go back to watch sports on tv with two remotes.
Hey--Webtv did a LOT for the internet!!

I sent EMs to all the web-tv posters I was able to identify. Unfortunately Yahoo returned several as undeliverable. All web-tv posters are still able to use their logins with the same passwords from any regular internet connection.
