I went to get a haircut and there is one guy ahead of me. Shortly after I arrive another man walks in with his daughter. As we sit awaiting the barber I get to talking about sportsbetting. Of course my blood pressure is getting higher as I think of the legal issues surrounding online wagering. I get in the chair and I continue to go in great detail about my feelings on the attempted banning of online sportsbetting and the fact that we can bet horses, do casinos, and lotteries. I am very adamant with my talking and trying to make these people understand it is simply ridiculous that I can wager on certain things but not sports and that I will continue and there is no way the Govt can stop it. I told them it was as useless as alcohol prohibition and the war on drugs and that the only reason the lawmakers care is because they don't have their hands in on the winnings. It became quite a debate amongst us three. Then I get up pay my $10 for a shaved head and walk out. When I get to the parking lot in back I notice 2 cars. Mine and a State Police car. The guy that was arguing/discussing with me and the barber was a State policeman. Talking about putting your foot in your mouth. LOL

Simply that it was against the law and they backed the Govt attempted intervention. They had no good reasons. Just typical pawns of the US Govt.

BTW, I let em know that you can win at sportsbetting as well because they pulled the ol' "People can't win at gambling" routine. I said BS, I'll introduce you to FISHHEAD and prove you wrong.

Thanks for fighting the good fight for gamblers everywhere. People who have never gambled think it is evil, corrupt, and will send you directly down the path of wickedness and iniquity. (Just like people who don't drink, have sex, etc.) These are the same people who think it is "right" to make Sunday liquor sales illegal.

My wife has cut my hair (crewcut) with an adjustable-height set of clippers (not a flowbee) since 1995. I have SHAVED a lot of $$ myself. (I had to throw that in since you did not.)

Worse thing I have done in weeks. Traffic sucks. I even went to the mall and looked around. I went in all kinds of stores. Actually kind of fun hanging with the cute girls helping me. I was asking questions that I could care less about just to get some conversation. I hit about every shop in the mall. Checked out some nice accoustic guitars and am working on a trade for my alvarez electric. Not one girl asked me out though.

I did buy me a nice Colts hat though.
