Vegas Party Hockey contest

i forget who all is in this hockey shooting thing we hope to do at the espnzone on saturday, august 14.

i believe i will be kicking sick's ass but i forget who else is going down,

the reason i ask is we need to set ground rules ahead of time - as well as what i will get when i win this thing. also - in the entertainment book i have - there is a "buy some points - get the same amount for free" coupon and if i know who is doing this we could do this - and get a lot more points for our money.

for the record i did this saturday and got 33! a very nice score and one i feel i am capable of doing in this contest.

hey winky, you are dreaming in TechniColor if you really believe you are going to beat me. Forget the others, we said it was me, you and Pete Rose Jr. You boys were talking a big game and all of you said you will win, so lets leave it at us 3 only. I can't wait to embarass you in front of everyone here.

I can't wait for you to come back here and tell everyone how sick gambler humiliated you.. Now when you say 33, what does that mean? I don't know what you played but I am thinking that we are going to take shots at a make beleive goalie and the net will leave us some openings to shoot at, right? Now is 33 that you got means 33 goals in a certain timeframe, or what? How will this work? I hate time limits. I want us each to have 50 shots and see who scores the most goals. Is this what we will do? I have NO IDEA what we are going to do.. Please fill me in..

Personally, I find it strange that you would come all the way to Vegas to compete in a hockey contest at the ESPN Zone, play basketball in 129 degree heat, or sleep.

Gambling, drinking and women should occupy 99.9% of your time.

33 is how many points i got.

the game lasts 90 seconds (about 85 seconds longer than i do when jennifer garner and i hook up). during that time you shoot pucks at a goalie that moves back and forth. as far as wanting "X" shots - can't happen in this game because it is timed. i will tell you the key to this game is how good your wrist shot is (meaning someone like Shrink would do very well) because that's all you take. a slapshot is stupid - only a wrister will do in this game and i have a GREAT wrist shot.

obviously - the further back you are - the more points you get.

face it sick boy - you might live in the hockey mecca of the world - but you are gonna be taken down by someone from - of all places - California.

ok i have never seen this but I will still hammer you even though I have never played this before. you have practiced a lot, unlike me, but I will still kick your ass.

Pucks?? Plastic orange pucks on a floor, OR real pucks on sliding surface?

And why is it that the further you are, the better it is?

And you had what, 33 goals in 90 seconds?

What do you mean by 3 zones and do they line up some pucks next to you?

I have a great snap shot, which is even quicker than your measley wrist shot. I have great hands my friend when it comes to holding that stick. You will soon see for yourself. But answer my questions please.

they are pucks - not orange ones along a plastic like surface. as for further away for more points - think basketball - if you make a trey it is because the shot is further back.

as i said - i got 33 points which was about 15ish goals in 90 seconds

they don't line up pucks - they are "spit" out to you 1 at a time. once you clear the puck in play (goal or out of bounds for 0 points) another one will be spit out to ya.
