I got everything covered but the plane ticket. I have enough to spend and play some, ride to and from the airport. I'm just chipping away at the plane ticket like 300 bucks shouldnt be a problem. I just switched to a much bigger apartment 3 weeks ago, really bad timing.

I hate to be the guy who is critical of our hosts, but what is going on?

1. A 23 year old marginal dealer (at best) is promoted to a host, due to the "juice" his father has. This guy Tommy is obviously not qualified now, and equally obviously is years away from being qualified.

2. The heavier set owner refers to girls as "broads", and displays an attitude that is simply inappropriate including betting his fellow owner $5,000 on who can speed into work faster, using profanity, acting unprofessional, etc.

3. The mustached senior exec curses out an emlployee who has messed up. I guess since it is Tommy it is ok.

4. Obviously heavily intoxicated patrons are encouraged to keep drinking and gambling, a clear violation of Nevada Gaming Rules......sure this rule is broken every shift by every casino......but it is one thing to break it, another to promote it on TV.

If the Nugget wants to be the class of Downtown, they are going to need to lead by example......and so far it isn't happening.

Fezz,

I know you have vast knowledge of Vegas, but I think the Nugget has ALWAYS been the class of downtown. Nothing to do directly with the Nugget. Just that the other places are all Class X Shitholes!

I agree with most of what you said. The owner you mentioned chain smokes like a smokestack too!

Is this show on any other time? I missed most of it last night. Always comical to me.

This is supposed to be reality?

Makes the management and staff look like real morons! I have been told that these guys are good guys. Some say any type of pub is good. Don't know if that is the case here. This show REALLY degrades the place!

You have to really sort of feel bad for the owners. Fox has really taken these guys for a swirl down the shitter on this one.

I think last nights episode was very telling and the owners, Tim and Tom, are basically agreeing with exactly what you are saying. Tim Poster is sick of the direction things have been going so far, pimps, hookers, bikini bowling...ETC, he doesn't want that angle to be the one the Nugget is known for. Seems like some changes are in store, or have to be made, in order for things to get back to their "vision" from the beginning. As Tim said appropriately, "its gone 180 degrees from what we intended"...And I think people can easily see that.

I like the show, Tommy is in WAY over his head too, and i have a feeling by the end of this show, he will either 1)be back dealing BJ or 2)be out of a job altogether...

Guess you guys will see him at the RX bash if he is still a host! God can you guys imagine the bashing he may be taking now because of the way he is portrayed, rightly or not, on this show?? LOL

Good point max!

"What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!"

Should apply to some of this programing too!

Funny thing though. Think of this. Most of us know how stupid this crap is. Think of the MILLIONS of people out there who REALLY think this is how Vegas works!

People are probably rushing for tickets to visit thinking that if all of Vegas management is this stupid the place will probably cease to exist soon!

The supposed high roller was so wasted. He is down 70k...only to go on a druken run ...looks like he was hitting some and 8's and 6's and get his $$ back and then some.
Then you have these russian whores who claim to be here on bikini contest..and the talent scout looking for new whores for his chicken ranch.
I think the Travel Channel shows on Vegas are better than this crap.JMO

I don't know about the rest of you, but I was pulling for the owner of the Cottontail Ranch to successfully recruit the bikini team girls from the bowling alley to work for him.

I would have immediately made several appointments with the "fresh" meat. Plus, they were hot and not yet run down looking.

Nothing I'm sure the lights turned down low wouldn't cure!

You can actually chat, well not live, on a message forum, with many of the girls who work at the brothels on a web site that all of them visit. I've never posted there, but it's pretty funny to read.

Talk about some regulars over there!

OT, has any one ever visited a brothel? I have not, but I have had a few girls called up to the room before while in Vegas. The last one, I am not kidding, was probably the prettiest girl I have EVER seen, whore or not.

I've heard, depending on the brothel, prices can range anywhere from $300.00 up to 4 figures. Again, that depends on the brothel (Sheri's Ranch, for instance, supposedly has better eye candy than some of the others), the amount of time you want, the girl you party with, and how good of a negiotiator you are.

As far as the call girls up to the room, I paid right at $300.00 for an hour. I would have gladly given her more, as she was, well ... let's just say she was good at what she did. Dark skin, olive complexion, italian ... almost completely shaved ... about 20 years old ... putting herself through school ...

Funny thing though, my buddy was in the room, we were drunk out the box, we called, I wanted a blonde, he wanted the brunette ... they came to the room, we looked through the peep hole, he says, give me the blonde, I want the blonde ... so I did ... and sure enough the blonde was pretty, but no where near at pretty as the brunette.

A little awkard with my buddy in the room, but I was preoccupied.

Were you able to still pick up any scores from Sportscenter during the workout?

Not a good question really. From what you have said, the live "scoring" was entertaining enough!

Have a good one, Chalk!

For those who know who Andy Bloch is (Poker and Blackjack world), he's slated to be on next week's show according to the previews they showed at the end of yesterday's show.
