GREEN BAY PACKER PROP:

Rushing attempts by WILLIAM HENDERSON

Over 1.5 -110
Under 1.5 -110

HENDERSON rushes the ball one time on a 3rd down conversion and one time on a 2 pt extra point conversion attempt.

Do you consider this one rushing attempt or two rushing attempts when grading the above ticket?

I consider it 1 rushing attempt. I dont think PAT's count towards player stats but I could be mistaken.

if there is no 'rules' specifing special teams then it is a winner... Ommission of such a rule constitutes a winning wager...

then again... does it count for official NFL stats?

if it does then it is a winner, if it does not then it does not...

hopw that clears things up...

I would apply "Fish" Rules. They are complicated, but here they are!

If you are not smart enough to know the rule......you deserve to lose

Does a pass attempt or completion on a 2 point conversion count in their passing and recieving stats?? I believe it should but I don't think it does!!

This actually happened to me in Vegas on a $500 wager.

Had the over 1.5 and Edgar Bennett rushed for one regular and one conversion.

They called it a loser.

They had no special rule posted saying conversions did not count........but on the other hand, conversion attempts do not go on stats.

I still think I had a good case.

Out of cortesy, if I were running the book, I would have refunded my money and made a point to put a disclaimer on the board for future events.

By the way, I went to the gaming control board and lost my appeal.

if it doesnt count in official NFL stats, I see their point... at the end of the day they dont watch the game necessarilly... they simply grade the wager by the scoresheet...posted by the NFL. They probably do have some rule like all NFL results taken from NFL.com or something like that...

Yes, I understand their ruling and it was probably the correct one.

From that point on though, they put that disclaimer clearly on the board.

Jimmy- When I worked at the Sands, a group of us would put up a daily prop of something very unique.

We actually had a tougher time stating all the disclaimers clearly than we did actually making a line for the prop.

1 rush as a 2 pt conversion is a dead ball play in NFL

Agree

But to play devils avocate, which I did at the time, please explain to me how the Packers converted their 2 point conversion attempt.

Did not Bennett RUSH the ball for the 2 points?

This is just me, but this is how I would have handled the situation if I were behind the counter------------since I didnt have a diclaimer on the board about this, out of cortesy would have at the very least refunded the customer his or her money.

Have had similar situations like this when working behind the counter in Vegas and were dealing our own homemand props.

Made very certain that we posted as many disclaimers on the board that could have a good possibility of happening to cover our ass.

In the rare instances that it did occur, many times I took the initiative to make the decision out of cortesy to the customer to refund their money if I thought their beef had validity.

Understand that Chris, it sure does not.

Agree!

Now, having said that, please tell me how that 2 point attempt was converted.

From NFL.com

SB Play-By Play:

2-1-CAR1 (2:55) T.Brady pass to M.Vrabel for 1 yard, TOUCHDOWN.
(Pass formation) TWO-POINT CONVERSION ATTEMPT. K.Faulk rushes up the middle. ATTEMPT SUCCEEDS. (NE lined up in a shotgun formation and snapped the ball directly to #33 Faulk.)
