I guess it's the rules, but I feel like I just got robbed. The game is suspended while in the 6th inning tied 2-2. Houston had tied in the top of the 6th.

According to DB, Las Vegas rules are that the game goes back to the last completed inning, which was the 5th. At the end of the 5th, CIN had a 2-1 lead. CIN is the winner. What kind of a bad beat is that?

I took Houston as well and I thought they are going to continue this game in another day picking up where they left off today. Should this bet remaining pending until the game finishs in another day?

Yes, my understanding is that it's a win for Cinci. Really cheap, they just wipe away a run.

Luckily for me, my night ended on three wins, STL, LA, and CLEV after a terrible start earlier.
My last bet for the night was Myskina over Sharapova -109. OMG, those Russian babes are hotties. They look even better after a tall vodka rocks.

This is an old tricky rule. In the past I have seen games graded based on the score at the end of the last full inning of play. An official game requires 5 full innings of play unless the home team is ahead, then 4.5 is sufficient. In this case that would make the final 2-1 Reds at the end of 5. Natrually no total or run line will count. I would suggest you check with whatever book you bet with for their policy in this case. It may vary according to posted rules. The game will be picked up tomorrow (Saturday) at 11:30 a.m. with the score tied at 2 and two Astros on base in the top of the sixth.
However that does not necessarily mean it is a continuation of tonight's game for betting purposes. I know pretty complicated.

This is Pinnacle's rule on this:

"The result of a game is official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4.5 innings. If a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called. Monies will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended. Events will not carry over to the following day unless otherwise specified."

In other words, because HOU was the visiting team, I lose. If CIN had tied the game it would have been no action.

No one got robbed. Someone would have gotten robbed if they graded the official score as 2 to 2. Without cincinnati getting their half of the inning.

How could they grade this game as a loss for Houston when the game itseld was delayed and resumed playing at 10 am this morning? The book would quickly pointed out the game must not finish the following day. How about those game in West Coast that went past midnight and techinacally finished the following day?

Nobody said they got robbed. The rules are posted on the books web sites. I said that I "feel like I got robbed". Having a run wiped out isn't something that happens to me everyday. I don't know about you.

I would rather see the book let the bet ride til the next day, the only problem with a suspended game is sometimes the game isn't finished til the teams hook up again, which could be a month later ...

hanover- I'm sure you will be rooting hard the Reds to win after all this?

Jman, betting against the Reds has been so profitable that I really shouldn't complain. The only bigger pushovers are the Royals who laid down for me four times this week.

I know this was a few days ago...but I had the same problem..they scored Cincy a winner. Then the next day after the friday game went to 12 innings or so...Pettite is lifted for Oliver and I had the Astros..-1.25...action. After the pitching change...the line was adjusted to Cincy -1.10. But the book I used for the play kept the line @ -1.25. I bet if it had gone to Hou -2.20 they would have adjusted the line...
