Pitched remarkably well after a very tough first inning when he got himself into a jam on a couple cheap infield hits.
Having said that, I dont really have a strong liking for him today considering his sinker ball will be tested today by the artificial surface at the Metrodome against a quality team.

The Red Sox current crop of players have hit .317 lifetime vs Radke, including both Manny and Nomar hitting .370 lifetime against him with 9 total homers!
All of Mannys six hits vs Radke have been homers.
The Twins have hit .309 vs. Lowe by the way.

Lowe has given up about 4 runs, in every start for how long? 7 or 8 games. And there are a few bigger numbers in there, as 4 is the best. This stiff would not know a quality start if you gave him a 3 foot zone. If the zone is tight, bp time. Every game. BoSox just blasted Twins last night. Not so sure it continues today. Plastic ball vs. green monster. Payback for last night. Starting pitchers...Radke did win in Bosox, last month. 3er 6 2/3. Bosox batted .250 and Ortiz was the only RBI guy. If he can come close to that, I am thinking Derek gets roughed up for 5 or more. B+ play...Best Wishes...OF
speed and defense are nice. sure the red sox are always woefully short on both.
but you don't win championships with speed and defense. you win because you have the best overall team. the red sox don't. and trading Nomar for a couple of zeros doesnt help matters. they don't make the playoffs now.
