I have never heard of a tri super. I am sure it isn't a superfecta, just another version of a tri. I would like to take a shot if someone can tell me how to play this wager. Thanks for any help.

A tri-super is two tri's in two consecutive races. You have to win the first tri to be able to enter a selection for the second try.

Actually a tri super is picking a tri in the first half, then picking a super in the second.

generally you can key, box, or wheel in the first half, but are forced to play a straight super in the second half. that is why they get so big. because it is usually weasy to get a live ticket since you can play a limited amount of tickets. But you are forced to play juat a single combination in the second race.

the last poster is correct,it's a tri followed by a super

i remember the twin tri from my days in arizona. which
is a tri followed by another tri two races later. Both races
are usually full fields of cheap horses, like 3000 claimers
who have never won two races lifetime.
some of the more adept punters would try to hit the tri
6 times in the first leg, which would allow them to buy
6 tri combos in the second leg.So generally you would box
the major contenders in the first leg 6x.this would
allow you to box 3 horses in the second leg.
you could exchange each winning ticker from the 1st leg,
for a ticket in the second leg.you also received a small
payoff for the winning ticket in the 1st leg.

To win you have to hit the trifecta in the first leg, then if you do you are given a free ticket to the next leg and if you pick the top 3 runners in order again you win the TRI-SUPER.

So you have to pick two trifectas and win in the desginated races in order to win the trisuper prize.

You need to hit FOUR horses in the second leg, not THREE. That would be a TWIN-TRI.

From Brisnet second leg results:

$1 Tri Super $0.00 8-7-1-4 (Carryover: $39683) N/A

8-7-1-4 was the winning order, no one had 8-7-1-4 therefore it is a carryover. If it were a twin tri then they would have only posted 8-7-1 as the winning order.

This isn't rocket science. it tells you what it is in the title.
