USA vs Italy shows the continued problem with our basketball today, everyone can cram the ball in the basket but know one can shoot or play defense on the 3point line.OK here comes the racist Larry Bird statement HOW COME THEIR ARE KNOW WHITE PLAYERS???ON THE TEAM REPRESENTING OUR COUNTRY WHITE PEOPLE PLAY BASKETBALL IN THIS COUNTRY WHERE ARE THEY???

was called for travelling?!! i think the violation had to
be explained to him... Probably the usa team wanted to have
the refs blow the whistle on Italians for too much passing.

Losing was the best thing that coulda happened to the team. They were too overconfident, didn't listen to Larry Brown, and relied too much on pure athletic ability. Maybe they will listen to Brown now.

maybe now, they'll bring fundamentals team basketball back to the nba...nowadays, instead of watching denver vs la, it's more like watching carmello vs kobe..that's why i like watching the college game more than nba..basketball was made to be a team sport, unless your name is jordan...
