It was nice to see Theo take my advice and go out and get some speed and defense.

This Sveum is the worst 3B coach I have ever seen in all my years of watching baseball.

In the top of the 9th Kevin Millar hit a leadoff single and advanced to second on a passed ball then Dave Roberts came in and pinch-ran. Doug Mientkiewicz followed with a single to center and Roberts tried to score but was thrown out at the plate by center fielder Rocco Baldelli. I guess sveum sent him. Trying to score on a shallow single especially with a guy like Baldelli throwing was dumb (no outs to boot).

This is just one of many blunders this guy as made over the course of the season.

I very very seldom have ever been critical of boston managers in the past........but I am starting to lose all respect for this guy with his weekly comments.
To compound the problem Francoma is defending Sveum saying if you don't get any runners thrown out you aren't aggresive enough.
Well maybe if it's 5th or 6th inning,but don't send him with no outs in 9th inning.
