right now i would go to Sanfran just b/c its hot as hell here right now. but if its closer to the end of the year NO has plenty to do. i would avoid mardi gras unless the wife stays home

. but jazz fest is a good time. also depends on what you want to do while on vacation. harrah's is ok but make sure you play on the raised level to get good treatment otherwise they are not to friendly. if you have never been to NO then i would check it out. if you've been a few times then nothing really changes and i hit sanfran

Never been there. Looking to do some sightseeing, some good eats, and a reasoble nightlife. Dont think I can afford my wifes gambling after our trip to tahoe.

Will confer with her on the end of the year.

NEVER had a better meal than i have had in New Orleans...the place is the restaurant capital of the world as far as i am concerned. But i agree its hotter than all hell till the end of september, so look to go in the fall, perfect weather then..

Just need to make sure USAIR flys there and they have a good Marriot or Hilton downtown.
